Hello, I'm Brian Galvan, Director of Growth & Innovation at Barnes Walker. I lead how the firm grows, and I build the software and AI systems that help it get there.
My background runs across three fields that usually live apart: marketing, technology, and business ownership. On a given day I might be shaping brand strategy, writing code, building an AI agent, or standing up a data pipeline. The through line is turning complex, manual work into systems that run on their own and produce results the firm can measure.
If you see potential for collaboration or partnership, I would like to connect. The form on this page is specific to marketing and business development and comes straight to me.

Brian Galvan is a marketing and technology strategist who builds at the intersection of artificial intelligence, custom software, and business growth. He pairs the instincts of a marketer with the skill set of an engineer, designing systems that turn ideas into working products and measurable results. Across every role, his focus has stayed the same: use technology to help organizations move faster, operate leaner, and reach further.
Technology & AI Innovation
This is where Brian goes deep. He is a hands-on builder who designs, writes, and ships production software and applied AI, working at the frontier of what these tools can do inside a professional services firm.
- Agentic AI systems: Designs and builds autonomous AI agents that carry out multi-step work, orchestrating several frontier models together for tasks no single tool handles well.
- Applied model engineering: Builds on top of frontier language models and shapes their behavior through system design, structured prompting, retrieval, and rigorous evaluation, so output is accurate, reliable, and on brand.
- Custom software development: Ships full-stack applications, internal tools, and client-facing portals from front end to database, including a Python desktop application that replaced costly third-party software for the litigation team.
- Workflow automation: Builds pipelines that move information between systems automatically and remove hours of manual work every week.
- AI-ready data infrastructure: Structures firm and market data into machine-readable sources of truth that both people and AI can query with confidence.
- Direct API integrations: Connects the firm's core platforms through their APIs, including PracticePanther, Rentcast, and Qualia, so tools that were never meant to talk to each other work as one.
- Analytics and business intelligence: Builds the pipelines, dashboards, and reporting that turn raw numbers into decisions, including tracking for AI-driven referrals.
- Secure and compliant AI: Evaluates and configures enterprise AI against a law firm's confidentiality obligations, including controls like zero data retention, before it touches client work.
Marketing & Martech
Brian's marketing work is built on data and executed with craft. He has led initiatives that lift brand visibility, deepen engagement, and generate qualified leads, pairing real storytelling with hard performance metrics. He treats marketing as a system with clear inputs and measurable outputs, and every channel he runs, from search to paid media to content, answers to the same question: what did it produce?
The Modern Search Landscape
Brian is fluent in how visibility actually works today. That starts with traditional SEO and PPC, but it extends into the AI answer engines that increasingly shape how clients find a firm. He builds content strategies designed to earn citations in AI-generated answers, not just rankings on a results page, and he tracks AI-driven referrals so that this new channel is measured like any other.
Marketing Technology
Where most marketers rent their stack, Brian engineers his. He builds the analytics and attribution pipelines behind the campaigns, connects CRM and marketing data so nothing lives in a silo, and automates the reporting that shows what is working and what is not. The result is a marketing operation where strategy, execution, and measurement run as one connected system.
Aviation Success Story: FlyUSA
Brian's work in private aviation is a case study in transformative growth. As Director of Marketing and later Director of Technology at FlyUSA, he helped make the company the fastest growing private jet charter provider in the United States in 2025.
- 10X web traffic growth: Through advanced SEO, PPC, and content strategy.
- AI-powered portals and apps: That eliminated outdated processes and gave clients a seamless booking and management experience.
- Brand and market expansion: Earning national recognition on the Inc. 5000.
Business Development
At Barnes Walker, one area we focus on is helping businesses navigate their legal, compliance, and closing needs. That resonates deeply with my own entrepreneurial journey. After completing my military service in 2004 and moving to Florida, I took a nontraditional first step into ownership by buying a bread route in Tampa from St. Armands Baking Company, one of the largest baked goods providers in the Southeast. Over the years, my brother and I co-owned and operated six routes across Florida, from Ocala to Miami, buying distressed territories, rebuilding operations, and selling them successfully on BizBuySell to other entrepreneurs.
That early experience taught me what it feels like to be on both sides of the closing table as a buyer and a seller. It gave me a firsthand understanding of the challenges, decisions, and emotions that owners face during a transaction. I bring that same perspective to Barnes Walker, supporting our attorneys and clients with insight that bridges real business operations and the legal process.
Beyond traditional ownership, I have built and continue to operate several technology ventures focused on streamlining workflows and business systems. These include invoicing and manufacturing platforms, educational tools, and AI-driven automation projects built with tools like n8n, Opus, and the evolving OpenAI Agent Kit ecosystem.
My passion is connecting business strategy, technology, and execution, helping the firm and our clients move with purpose, efficiency, and innovation.
Military Service
From 1999 to 2004, I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a TRC/170 Microwave and Satellite Communications Technician and Operator. I deployed with the 1st Marine Division, supporting global operations across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa. My role was to maintain and operate the advanced communications systems that mission success depended on in complex environments.
Serving in the Marines taught me leadership, discipline, adaptability, and teamwork, qualities that continue to guide how I approach challenges and responsibilities today. Those years shaped my mindset for problem-solving, accountability, and getting the mission done, in business and in life. The systems I build now trace straight back to the work I did keeping signal up when it mattered most.
