Home-Based Business Licensing in Florida

Section 166.0445 protects Florida home-based businesses: municipalities cannot prohibit businesses with 2 or fewer employees, no excess traffic/noise, and no exterior signage. Still need business tax receipt, state licensing, and HOA compliance. HOAs cannot completely prohibit compliant home businesses (Section 720.3075).
