Per Stirpes Distribution Estate Bequest

Definition: A method of distributing an estate in which each branch of the family receives an equal share. If a beneficiary predeceases the decedent, that beneficiary's share passes to their descendants in equal shares.

FL intestate per stirpes (Section 732.104): spouse gets first $60K + half balance; descendants get rest. Distribution begins at first generation with living descendants. Adopted children (Section 732.108): treated as natural. Half-blood (Section 732.105): full share. Posthumous (Section 732.106): inherits. Drafting: specify starting generation.
