Pre-Approval Letter: Mortgage

Definition: A written commitment from a mortgage lender stating the borrower has been pre-approved for a mortgage up to a specified amount, subject to property appraisal and final underwriting. Stronger than pre-qualification and demonstrates the buyer's financial readiness.
