RICO in Florida

FL RICO (Section 895.02) targets organized criminal activity: using racketeering income, acquiring enterprise interests through racketeering, and conducting enterprises through racketeering. Criminal: first-degree felony, up to 30 years, $10K fine, forfeiture. Civil (Section 895.05): treble damages + attorney fees. Pattern: 2+ acts within 5 years (vs. federal 10 years). Used in RE fraud, insurance fraud, and financial fraud.
