Features: right of survivorship, creditor protection (one spouse’s creditor cannot reach), unity of possession, undivided interest. Asset protection: no forced sale, lien, or garnishment by individual creditor. Extends to: real, personal, bank, and investment accounts. Exception: IRS (Craft). Ends: divorce (converts to TIC), death, mutual agreement, or bankruptcy.
