FL Article 9 (Chapter 679): secured transactions in personal property. Applies: commercial loans (equipment, inventory, receivables), fixture filings, and consignments. Perfect: UCC-1 with FL Dept of State. Priority: first to file (Section 679.3221); PMSI super-priority (Section 679.3241: 20 days); buyer in ordinary course (Section 679.3201: takes free). Default remedies: repossess, sell (commercially reasonable; Section 679.610), retain in satisfaction, and sue for deficiency. Debtor: redeem before sale.
