Value-in-Use Appraisal in Florida
FL value-in-use: property value based on current use to current owner (vs. market value: highest and best use). FL tax: agricultural classification (Section 193.461: greenbelt) = use value (up to 90% tax reduction). Conservation (Section 193.501) = conservation value. Legal: eminent domain (just compensation may include special use value), divorce (business value-in-use vs. liquidation), and insurance (replacement cost in use).
