Title Vesting Options in Florida

FL vesting options: sole (passes through estate), TIC (undivided, unequal, no survivorship), JTWROS (equal, survivorship, must be express), TBE (married, survivorship, creditor protection; Section 689.15), and trust (estate planning). Tax: sole = full step-up; TIC = deceased share only; JTWROS/TBE = half; trust depends on type. FL: no state income/estate tax. Creditor: TBE = strongest (individual creditors cannot reach); TIC = weakest (partition). Homestead: additional protection regardless.
