FL survivor recovery (Section 768.21): spouse (companionship, pain, support), minor children (guidance, pain, support), parents of minor (pain, companionship), adult children (pain only if no spouse; over 25: generally excluded), and dependent relatives (support). Each separate + distinct. Companionship valuation: jury discretion (relationship, age, activities, bond). No formula. vs. estate damages: survivor = non-economic (individual); estate = economic (medical, funeral, earnings). Personal rep collects both. Distribution: survivor = individual; estate = will/intestacy.
