Florida Notice of Commencement
Florida’s NOC (Section 713.13) includes a statutory warning about improper payments. Effective for 1 year from recording; extendable by amendment. After receiving NTOs, owner must verify subcontractor payment or obtain partial lien releases before making progress payments.
