Florida Value Adjustment Board (VAB)

FL VAB (Section 194.015): quasi-judicial body hearing tax assessment appeals. Composition: 2 county commissioners, 1 school board member, 2 citizens. File petition within 25 days of TRIM ($1 residential, $50 commercial). Special magistrates hear cases. Disagree: appeal to circuit court within 60 days (Section 194.171); de novo review, new evidence allowed.
