FL xerographic recording (Section 695.11): clerk generally prefers original. Format: legible, margins, font size. Fees: $1 first page + $8.50 each additional + doc stamps. Return address required. Xerographic deed: generally no (original preferred). Lost: lost instrument affidavit + certified copy. Out-of-state: certified copy may be accepted. Recording = constructive notice. Defective: rejection, challenge, title cloud, and notice failure. Ensure clear, legible copies before recording.
