Mechanics Notices in Florida Construction

Mechanics notices (Chapter 713) create a transparent payment chain: NOC by owner, NTO by subs/suppliers, Notice of Non-Payment, and Contractor’s Final Affidavit. Failure to serve the NTO within 45 days bars lien rights. Courts strictly construe notice requirements.
